Camion Bazar began with the Italo-French duo of Benedetta and Romain, a truck, a stack of records, and the determination to build a party from the ground up. They now move through the international scene as DJs, producers, party curators, label managers, Rinse residents, and live performers, with their live A/V tour having kicked off in 2023. Techno, electro, house, acid, rave, tribal rhythms, and prog-trance all circulate through, though their real signature lies in how they sequence energy.
In the self-organized parties that followed, affordable entry, scenography, respect, and self-expression were held in the utmost esteem. That understanding grew into Voltage, the long-running French series known for vinyl and freedom from prejudice. Its strongest public anchors have been La Station – Gare des Mines in Paris and Le Sucre in Lyon. By May 2024, the party was marking 10 years of Camion Bazar with its own sense of occasion.

By the time that sensibility reached record, it already had a distinct pulse. The single "Nina" marked an early step, and 2021'sHoneymoon 20 (Jaki Records) gave the duo a more fully developed recorded musical identity. For the video to "YLB," the duo assembled thousands of drawings from footage of themselves, friends, and dogs, giving the release an almost diaristic aura. The track later reached a wider audience when it appeared on Cinthie's 2022DJ-Kicks compilation.
Framed as the logical next chapter of Honeymoon 20,Darkmoon 20 moved into a tenser nighttime sound. In 2023,Alteration arrived, bringing several strands together and presenting a new level of studio control through a five-track album release.
Enemy Dance, the imprint Benedetta and Romain launched in 2023 as a sub-label of Jaki Records, gave the growing body of work a label home to move through. With its no-nonsense name, releases like "No Flag", "Parallel Processing," “1319 Acai," and "Tension Dimension" hit through urgent old-school raving. Remixes from CYRK, Belaria, and GGGG further connected the label to a wider network of artists moving through similar sounds.
Sangue says a lot about where Camion Bazar are now, the first vinyl release on Enemy Dance, in late 2024. The title means blood, and the record nods openly to 1970s Italian Giallo cinema. "Parasomnia," “Emo Goblin," “Fantasmi," and "Tension Dimension" move through electro, techno, rave house, and prog-trance with a lush palette of nocturnal fantasy. That same month, Camion Bazar also appeared on D.KO Records'Santa Claude Vol. 3 with "Sombras Del Rave". On 25 March 2026, the duo followed it with the four-track EPShining Valley, a dub-inflected turn into minimal house and deep techno.
For many listeners, the 2019 Boiler Room x Nuits Sonores was the introduction to Camion Bazar, but their relationship with the Lyon-based festival runs much deeper. A vinyl session for Kiosk Radio that same year captured a more diggers' view. Later sessions feature more defined performances, including a 2022 live set at Fusion, the 2024 live recording from Fuse in Brussels, and their Rinse France residency. That radio presence comes through especially clearly inThe Split, their two-hour vinyl format in which Romain and Benedetta each take an hour. In recent years, that exchange has grown into a larger live show featuring multiple instruments, drum machines, hardware, and visuals.
Camion Bazar now move between clubs, festivals, afterparties, radio, and tours across Europe and Asia, carrying a recognizable atmosphere with them. That world reaches Control Club on 24 April, when the duo make their Romanian debut at ctrl x flipside. Their sets bring tension, texture, and pacing that still feel welded by human hands.
