A queer Italian DJ and producer based in London, Samantha Togni has established a notable reputation in the electronic music scene, particularly within hard, high-tempo techno designed for crowded rooms and fast transitions. Her productions are engineered to sit cleanly in a DJ mix, and much of her output falls within the 145-146 BPM range. Alongside the booth, she works as an organizer and facilitator, treating infrastructure, lineups, mentorship, access, and policy as part of the creative work. That dual identity is concentrated in Boudica, the platform she founded in 2019. Boudica began as a party and has grown into an international club series, a music conference, and a label, with a focus on amplifying women, trans+, and non-binary artists working in fast, heavy electronic music. On Friday, December 12, 2025, she plays Control Club in Bucharest as part of the Sqweez! final bash before the holidays.

Boudica is also a club brand with residencies in London at FOLD, E1, and The Pickle Factory, and touring bills across Europe. Its conference strand began in 2020 and has run editions at Freemasons’ Hall in London and at MAMbo in Bologna, with day-to-night programmes that combine panels, workshops, and club programming in a safer, skills-focused setting. On the label side, Boudica Records launched in 2022 with Arts Council England support.
On the performance side, her schedule has scaled quickly, including a run of shows across the US, Europe, and Asia. In the studio, she has been developing collaborations with Louisahhh, Toya Delazy, SKIN, and Shannon Funchess. Her music has also moved beyond club channels, with Adidas Originals featuring her tracks in stores worldwide, and international press coverage positioning her as part of electronic music’s next wave, including DJ Mag, Grammy.com, and Red Bull.
Her 2022 releases document a producer locking her language into public circulation, characterized by a raw, aggressive sound rooted in techno and industrial influences. Dark Horse on Lobster Theremin landed as a vinyl 12". The same year, she released I Wrote Danger On Your Face on Pls.Uk, another five-track EP. She also issued Sensible Social Lies on 10 Pills Mate.
In 2023, Togni released Confessions Of A Mask on Brvtalist Sound Recordings. The EP contains three originals, "Paranoia Will Destroy Ya", "Confessions Of A Mask", and "Ready To Be Unplugged", plus "Confessions Of A Mask" in a Valerie Ace remix. That same year, Boudica’s label timeline tightened around artist releases and compilations. Togni’s own Lady Of The Flies arrived on Boudica, with four tracks. The label also released OCD’s Libido, which includes a Samantha Togni remix of its eponymous track.
Boudica’s compilation series reads as a map of the platform’s intent. Boudica VA01 Pure Bones was released in 2022 and includes "Pure Bones" by Samantha Togni featuring Alejandra Muñoz, alongside tracks by Nur Jaber, Femanyst, and Wanton Witch. In 2023, the label followed with Boudica VA02 Dreams That I Can’t Quite Remember, featuring "Dreams That I Can’t Quite Remember" by Infinity Division, plus "Love Q" by Peachlyfe, "Miles Away" by Sentimental Rave, and "Grand Theft Audio" by Yazzus. Later that year, Boudica VA03 Dark As It Gets came.
In 2024, Togni appeared on ICARIUS VOL.1 on Galactica Music with "London Slurp". The compilation’s release schedule places it in early 2024, and Togni’s contribution sits on the second vinyl in the D side run. She also released Lunaversal on Rant & Rave Records.
In 2025, Togni’s releases and remix work continued at a steady pace. "Can I Can U" in its "Can I Can U" Samantha Togni remix form, featuring Skin, arrived in April 2025 via Bronson Recordings. In September 2025, she remixed "Melkchisedek" for Frankie Watch, released as "Melkchisedek" in a Samantha Togni remix on Frankie Watch’s Bitxx EP via Shivers. In October 2025, Togni released "Last Ritual" on Boudica as a standalone single. In November 2025, she shared "Laguna Code" as a free download through her SoundCloud, and it also appeared on digital stores with a listed BPM of 146.
Togni’s profile is strongest when read through the overlap between catalog and infrastructure. The releases show a producer focused on high-tempo club utility, with recurring presence across labels central to hard techno circulation. At the same time, Boudica frames the longer arc that places women, trans+, and non-binary artists at the center of high BPM club music, using bookings and releases as long-term tools rather than one-off statements. Her sound is a turbine, and Boudica is the machine room that keeps it running.
