ROOM 1

LIVE: Roda de Hombres XVII

LIVE WORLD
20:00

Roda de Hombres: eight musicians from six different cultures will sit in a circle and play together without knowing one another. Eight men, seemingly strangers, they are actually brothers bound by primal rhythm.

This is an invitation to dive deeply into the vital, spiritual fire of masculine essence, the one that radiates and fades, the loud and the whispered.

Let us prepare our minds and clench our fists. Man is the sun, the sky, the unyielding backbone. Men’s music carves mountains and forges empires, conquers the horizon and protects the flame. A fully masculine roda can feel like a rite of initiation. The energy of the music played by our warriors is an eruption, sometimes gentle, sometimes unleashed. It will be volcanic. It will be earth-shaking. Multiple cultures, different bloodlines, one single roda.

Roda del Mundo is a music played at a first sight. Musicians from different cultures play together without knowing one another, seated among us. And they recognize each other through music. The work is done with energy, with total openness, with the soul. This is what makes Roda del Mundo a privileged, unrepeatable moment.

Music exists all over the world. When it meets, it recognizes itself, silently, or rather, through sound. Music is the carrier of this secret. Music is the mantra of our planet. We are the circle in which Roda del Mundo is created. Any phone screen becomes a wall between us and the musicians. We kindly ask to be present with one another, not with our phones.
