Lace up your dancing shoes and mark your calendars for July 11 as Groovy Disco returns with a fresh episode. Prepare to groove to the glittering nostalgia of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. For this edition, Eugen Rădescu, a trailblazer in Romania’s nightlife scene advocating for safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community, has invited Andrei Neagoe to join the stage for an unforgettable night.

Andrei Neagoe is a dynamic and passionate actor who honed his craft at UNATC (National University of Theatre and Film) in Romania. Known for his adventurous spirit and infectious positive energy, Neagoe brings a unique vibrancy to every role he undertakes.
Offstage, he is an avid lover of adventure and a true enthusiast of pirate lore, often drawing inspiration from these passions to fuel his creative performances. With a commitment to good vibes and a knack for captivating audiences, Andrei Neagoe continues to make waves in the acting world.

Eugen Rădescu is a social researcher, queer activist and independent curator, interested in the connections between art and politics, queer strategies and class conflict, writer and researcher working at the intersection of contemporary art and its production, exhibition-making practices, and development theory. He is the force in Romanian party nightlife on the importance of creating safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.
He is director of Bucharest Biennale. He is member of the selection board at apexart NYC. He held different lectures at several institutions such as apex, New York, Badisher Kunstverein, Karlshrue, Casa Encedida, Madrid, Paris Photo, Paris, Gulbenkian Lisbon, Kunsthalle, Wien, Gagnef, Sweden. He published the book “How Innocent Is That?” at Revolver Book, Berlin (2009) and “QUEER. Istorii ilustrate” at Black Button Book (2019), Bucharest, “Feminism intersecțional” – (coord. Olivia Nițiș), KWEST, Berlin, Germany (2021). He is professor at Bucharest University and Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj.
