The Groovy Bastards – new album release

The Groovy Bastards is a fusion Romanian band, formed in 2015, priding itself on 4 bubbly personalities and a joyful approach to music. The crew successfully combines different music genres such as Funk, Rock, Soul, and even drops some sick rap lyrics on original beats. The band’s signature is their live performance, and raw energy, through which they engage the audience.

Some of their achievements include awards from Sibiu Jazz Festival, Târgu Mureș Jazz Festival, and „Gala Națională de Jazz”. In 2023 the band won Second Prize at the Posada Rock Festival, in Câmpulung Muscel. They also performed live alongside the Rosenberg trio at the Ruse Jazz Festival. Other accomplishments include being an opening act for well-known artists such as Bumblefoot (Guns N’ Roses guitar player) and Marco Mendoza (from Whitesnake).
